Pretty Gunmetal purse chains with black vinyl inlay.
The width of the handle is 12cm / 4.75 inches. I chose this two-toned handle to suit bags and clutches that use either matte black or gunmetal hardware. Or both! I like mixing metals even though some folks consider that a faux-pas (I mix pink and red, another classic faux-pas! Apparently navy blue shouldn't be paired with black, either. Who makes up these weird rules?!)
This would look good on a small handbag using our gunmetal purse chain with black vinyl woven between the chain links, as the shoulder strap.
Sold in sets of 2 handles. Attach one to the top of a small clutch, or attach two near the center top of a small bag, one on each side of the top opening.
Comes with little D shaped rings and screws for fastening the handle to your bag.
TIP: If your bag material has any stretch to it, I recommend adding a small square of firm interfacing to the back of your material as reinforcement. A little scrap of Decovil would work well. You just want to prevent the hole that the screws passes through from stretching and allowing the head of the screw to pop out the front of your bag.
After dry-fitting the screws, put a drop of Locktite in the screw holes and then screw the screws back in for a more permanent fixation.

MATTE BLACK FINISH
In a nutshell, the black finish is a thin coating on top of a silver coloured base metal like zinc or aluminum. It's gorgeous, but it isn't perfect. Be aware that the matte finish is more prone to showing imperfections, and the coating in general can wear off over time. If you scratch it with something sharp, the silver underneath can become visible.
It's all soooo worth it though - you can have matte black make a statement, or take a back seat to your fabric and let it pop. Your choice!
ZIPPERS AND WEBBING
They are cut by the meter (not yard)- but a meter is 39.5". I like to round up to 40" when I measure and cut your order, so you get a little more than a meter each time!
